She holds a PhD in Audiovisual Communication and is a professor of Communication at Rovira i Virgili University. Her research interests focus on the study of metaphors and the media construction of political conflicts.

Specialized in the social impact of technology, disinformation, hacktivism and privacy. He works at elDiario.es, where he has revealed several campaigns of electoral manipulation and intoxication of political discourse on social networks. He has collaborated with projects to analyse and monitor respect for fundamental rights on the Internet at a Spanish and European level.

Heurística, from the Greek εὑρίσκω, is the science or art of discovery. It is an autonomous space for research, education, and techno-scientific mediation. Our goals are to promote the socialization and democratization of techno-scientific practices and knowledge; articulate critical discourses around science and technology; practice and foster open, autonomous, and participatory research; enhance a culture of common data and scientific and technological autonomy; develop and facilitate experimental and transdisciplinary research, combining social, natural, and informational (techno)sciences.

I am Associate Professor with tenure at the Department of Political Science of the University of Barcelona, and Fellow at the Institutions and Political Economy Research Group. I hold an ICREA Academia Award. Currently, I am working as the director of the Public Opinion Center of the Catalan government.

Previously, I was Ramón y Cajal research fellow (2014-19), postdoctoral researcher (Juan de la Cierva) at the Democracy, Elections and Citizenship Research Group (UAB, 2010-14). I hold a PhD from Pompeu Fabra University (2009). I have also been visiting researcher at the University of Gothenburg (2012) and Yale University (2007-08).

Studying complex social systems, machine learning and human-computer interaction, particularly the design of fair machine learning systems, the unveiling of inequalities in social systems, the development of participatory platforms and the study of collective behavioural patterns on different topics: cooperation, misinformation or public health. Very interested in the intersection between science, technology, education and the arts.

Marta Sales-Pardo (Barcelona, 1976) is a physicist, philanthropist, and professor at the Rovira i Virgili University, in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering. She has made significant contributions to complex networks, studying both human relationships in small groups and biochemical components, highlighting the role of each node or individual in the overall system. She has also recently been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2023 for her support of young engineers at URV and her studies in student antidepressant psychology. Her research has received several mentions in the Fulbright Program and the ICREA Program, among others.

Proyecto UNA is a millennial collective whose mission is to unmask the new forms of fascism hidden under seemingly harmless symbolism, as well as recognize and value the feminist alliances forged in the digital realm. Through popular and community-based approaches, they investigate power struggles in the media, internet, and analog reality. They are willing to laugh heartily from the barricade, because their lives depend on it.
